Our jewelry is tarnish and waterproof. But what does this actually mean?
This means that unlike costume jewelry, the color will not change after just a few uses when exposed to water and daily wear.  Neither will the jewelry experience discoloration or turn your fingers green. It is also hypoallergic as it does not contain any nickel.

How is this possible ?
This is because we use a stainless steel base for our pieces that is coated with a thin layer of gold.

How long will the pieces last?
Our pieces can generally last 1-3 years as it is not solid gold and the only type of jewelry that will ever be fully tarnish proof is sold gold jewelry. Having that said over time the gold plating may fade over time and the stainless steel base will be exposed.

How can you make the jewelry last longer?
To keep your gold-plated jewelry looking great for a long time, you want to minimise exposure to air, moisture and chemicals. All three things speed up tarnishing and make the jewelrys gold plating fade faster. So the best thing you can do is to keep your jewelry stored in an airtight container when you are not using it.

Also, you want to dry your jewelry correctly after washing it to avoid leaving moisture. And last but not least, avoid exposing your jewelry to chemicals; don’t spray perfume directly onto your pieces, avoid using hand creams and lotions, and don’t clean the house wearing your jewelry.

Most guides recommend taking off your gold-plated jewelry before washing your hands or in the shower; we recommend washing your jewelry with water on occasion to remove chemicals and abrasive dirt. As long as you remember to dry it properly afterwards

Note: unlike solid gold jewelry, gold plated jewelry isn’t a very yellow gold and does have abit of a orangish-yellow appearance
